Visitors Moorings - Town Quay

We have approximately 70 deep water berths for visiting boats at the Town Quay. This is very convenient for the town and its numerous restaurants, bars and shopping facilities.

Pontoon moorings at Town Quay are available on a first come first served basis and consist of two pontoons, one of which is walk ashore.

Please note that a maximum of 4 boats can be rafted out on the walk-ashore pontoon.

The Town Quay area also has two main mooring buoy areas. The orange buoys labelled ‘M’ and ‘N’ row are nearest the Quay and will take boats up to about 34ft (10.36m). The buoys labelled ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ rows will take boats up to about 42ft (12.8m). The buoys are fore and aft moorings.

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available (Wi-Fi signal subject to atmospheric conditions. Download limits apply)

Dan Bran & Harbour Masters Pontoons

Bookable walk ashore berths are conveniently located for the Royal Lymington Yacht Club, Lymington Town Sailing Club, and the Mayflower public house and just a short stroll to the centre of town. This 650ft long pontoon is unique in the Solent as a walk ashore destination where rallies of up to 50 (10m) boats can be moored together. We can also accommodate motor yachts of up to 120ft by special arrangement. Although organised events with six or more boats take priority, reservations are also accepted from smaller groups or individual boats, subject to availability.

Visitor berths on the Dan Bran pontoon have power (own power cable required). Please contact the Harbour Office to arrange connection.

It is advisable to book early as this facility is proving to be very popular especially at weekends!

For RIBs and small boats (up to 8m) we have a number of bookable walk ashore moorings on the Harbour Master’s pontoon which is conveniently located next to the Bath Road slipway, public parking, the Mayflower public house and just a short stroll from the centre of town.
