Covid 19: Roadmap for Easing Lockdown – Harbour Use (Leisure)

On Monday 22nd February, the Prime Minister set out the roadmap out of lockdown, with guidance for businesses on when we can reopen. The roadmap is in four steps. Before taking the next step, the Government will assess the impact of previous steps. This assessment is based on 4 tests:
  • The vaccine deployment programme continues successfully
  • Evidence shows vaccines are sufficiently effective in reducing hospitalisations and deaths in those vaccinated
  • Infection rates do not risk a surge in hospitalisations which would put unsustainable pressure on the NHS
  • Assessment of the risks is not fundamentally changed by new variants of concern
You can read the Government's full roadmap document here.

ROADMAP STEP 1
FROM 8th MARCH
  • You should stay at home and only leave home for the permitted purposes set out in Government guidance.
  • You will be allowed to spend time in outdoor public spaces for recreation on your own, with one other person, or with your household or support bubble. This is in addition to outdoor exercise which is already permitted.
  • You must continue to maintain social distance from those outside your household and there should be no household mixing indoors (includes cabin/below deck).
Local boating and other water sport activities are permitted, but only if conducted in accordance with the above rules.
