Visitor Mooring Information and Charges
IMPORTANT: Please see red text below for details of restrictions on visitor berth provision this winter to facilitate dredging.
During the summer season we have 3 visitor pontoons as well as 4 fore and aft moorings. All pontoons have free water (own hose required) and Wi-Fi. The fore and aft moorings have Wi-Fi. The Dan Bran and Town Quay pontoons also have electricity (subject to socket availability).
Use of visitor moorings and electrical connection is subject to our Terms and Conditions.

Town Quay Pontoon (Finger & Rafting Berths)
IMPORTANT: Due to dredging, this pontoon will be closed from midday on Thursday 30th November 2023 until further notice. It is anticipated it will reopen in late January 2024.
During the summer season, 26 finger berths will be available for advance booking through the Harbour Office together with a limited number of alongside/rafted berths. The remaining alongside/rafted berths will be allocated on a first come first serve basis.
During the winter season, visitor berth numbers will be limited and will be available on a first come first served basis only.
Boats should not be left unattended for more that 24 hours unless agreed in advance with the Harbour Office.

Dan Bran Pontoon (Rafting Berths) - advance booking required
IMPORTANT: To facilitate dredging, until further notice visitor berth provision is restricted to the north section of the pontoon highlighted yellow in the image below.

Located on the west side of the river immediately after passing the entrance to Lymington Yacht Haven, Dan Bran offers bookable walk ashore berths which are conveniently located for the Lymington Town Sailing Club, Royal Lymington Yacht Club and the Mayflower Public House and beer garden!
Just a short stroll to the centre of town, this 650ft long pontoon is unique in the Solent as a walk ashore destination where rallies of up to 50 (10m) boats can be moored (rafted) together thus making for a real party atmosphere! We can also accommodate motor yachts of up to 120ft by special arrangement.

Harbour Master Pontoon (advance booking required)
This facility offers 6 bookable walk ashore berths for RIBs and small boats up to 8m in length. This facility is located close to the Lymington Town Sailing Club, Royal Lymington Yacht Club and the Mayflower Public House and is just a short stroll from the centre of town. The pontoon is adjacent to the Bath Road slipway and public parking is available. If you’re not arriving by water why not launch your boat here and stay a few days?

Visitor River Moorings - Town Quay River Moorings
IMPORTANT: Due to dredging, these moorings will be closed from the 1st November 2023 until further notice.
We have up to 4 fore and aft visitor moorings located opposite our Town Quay pontoon and just a short row to the picturesque quayside. The High Street is just a two minute walk. Moorings are offered on a first come first served basis.
