Lymington is one of the UK's premier yachting centres and is located in an enviable position at the 'gateway' to the western Solent making it a popular destination for sailors, power boaters and cruisers throughout the season.
The harbour is easily accessible with deep water access to all visitor mooring areas. There is a wide choice of berths and facilities ranging from private marinas to Lymington Harbour Commission's own walk ashore berths and moorings at Town Quay and the popular Dan Bran pontoon which is ideal for hosting visiting rallies.
A major draw to Lymington is the Saturday market which lines both sides of the Georgian High Street, the origins of which date back to the 13th century. Colourful stalls sell local produce, antiques, art, fashion and much more. Adjacent to the High Street are numerous courtyards full of shops, boutiques and a good selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes.
