Town Quay Pontoon Commercial Landing

Located adjacent to the Town Quay this walk ashore pontoon landing is just a 2 minute walk from the town centre and is suitable for boats up to a maximum of 15m in length. Prior notification of use is required.

Please note this pontoon is regularly used so leaving a boat unattended is not permitted. This facility is for ‘pick up’ and ‘drop off’ only and the berth should be vacated as soon as possible thereafter, particularly if other craft are waiting to land.

Harbour Master Pontoon Commercial Landing

Located just downstream of the Royal Lymington Yacht Club this walk ashore pontoon landing is convenient for the Bath Road public car park and is just a short stroll from the centre of town. It is suitable for boats up to a maximum of 35m in length. Prior notification of use is required.

Please note this pontoon is regularly used as a landing by both commercial and leisure users so leaving a boat unattended is not permitted unless authorised by the Harbour Master. This facility is for ‘pick up’ and ‘drop off’ only and the berth should be vacated as soon as possible thereafter, particularly if other craft are waiting to land.

Notification & Declaration Requirements

All commercial users of the river and landing facilities must notify Lymington Harbour Commissioners of their intended use and pay Harbour Dues and Charges. This applies to any vessel being used for commercial purposes including ferry operators, charter trips, river cruises etc. Notification can be made by clicking here.

For established frequent users (such as ferry operations) operators can contact the Harbour Master to discuss alternative means of notification.
