COVID 19 - GUIIDELINES FOR RECREATIONAL BOATING DURING LOCKDOWN

Notice is hereby given that for the duration of the UK Governments Coronavirus lockdown of England (currently from Thursday 5th November until Wednesday 2nd December 2020), the following arrangements will apply when using Lymington Harbour Commission facilities for the purpose of taking exercise or open air recreation:-

  • The slipway will remain open subject to users complying with all Covid-19 regulations and published government guidance[1], including the regulations that set out the circumstances under which it is permissible to take exercise or take open air recreation. When on the slipway, users must comply with social distancing guidance at all times.
  • Mooring or berth holders may access their boats (and use them) subject to users complying with all Covid-19 regulations and published government guidance, including the regulations that set out the circumstances under which it is permissible to take exercise or open air recreation. When on pontoons, users must comply with social distancing guidance at all times.
  • No overnight stays are permitted on vessels moored on Lymington Harbour Commission moorings.
  • Visitor moorings are closed for overnight stays. Short stays will be permitted on the Harbour Master pontoon subject to berth availability. Please check in advance as the pontoon will be periodically closed for dredging.
  • The Harbour Office will be closed for personal visits. Please contact us by phone or email.
