COVID - 19 UPDATE – HARBOUR USE RESTRICTIONS

In light of further clarification on the Government advice requiring people to stay at home other than for very limited purposes, until further notice we have taken the decision to close all of our leisure berths, pontoons and moorings with immediate effect.

Only commercial fishing berths will remain open as they are classed as an essential service.

We have also taken a decision to close the Bath Road and Town Quay slipways for all launches with the exception of the RNLI lifeboat service.

Please stay at home, adhere to social distancing instructions and avoid all essential travel.

During the closure period, our operational staff will undertake extra patrols and visual inspections of all berths and moorings to check that boats remain secure and that there are no obvious problems. In the event that we identify an issue, we will notify you.

The Harbour Office also remains closed with most of our administration team working from home unless absolutely essential. We would be grateful if non-urgent enquiries can be made through email at info@lymingtonharbour.co.uk

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR CO-OPERATION AND STAY SAFE!

Harbour Master & Chief Executive
